Website Updates

It's been a while since I posted anything, and updated the site at all if I'm being honest, so you will be pleased to know that I have made some changes to the cheap MP3 music archive.

I realised that the pages in this section were hard to use and made it difficult to find the songs/albums/artists you were looking for. Therefore, I have added pagination to each of the lettered pages and the artists are now ordered by popularity (with a handy star rating system!).

Please feel free to let me know what you think, and any suggestions you may have for the site in general.

New "unlimited music" service to launch

In the latest attempt to crack-down on illegal music downloads through services such as file-sharing, p2p networks, Universal Music have teamed up with Virgin Media to offer a monthly subscription service which will allow users to download unlimited amounts of music.

The fee is thought to be around £10-£15 when launched, and when it is, check back here for a review of this unlimited music service.

MP3 and iPod Compatibility

One question I get asked often is "Can the music bought on these cheap MP3 websites be used on my iPod"?

And you'll be pleased to know, the answer is "Yes"! There are no catches to the MP3 files available to buy on the websites I review - they are standard MP3 files that you can play on your computer, burn to CD, or play on your iPod!

If you have already been to the MP3 website reviews page, you will have already noticed that a new review has been added to the list. And not only that, it has gone straight to number 1!
