Isle of Wight Festival To Be Bigger Than Ever In 2015

One of Britain’s favourite summer festivals has revealed its huge line-up as it goes head-to-head in challenging Glastonbury for the Best British Festival crown once again.

Last week, the organisers of the Isle of Wight festival released eighteen new acts to an already sophisticated line up. The festival are known for having a real diverse range of music including rock, dance and classical genres, spread across one weekend which will be June 11th – 14th in 2015.

The Isle of Wight FestivalAdded to the bill are Chicks on Speed, Coasts, Ruen Brothers, Pretty Vicious, Glenn Gregory and dance music favourites Groove Armada.

We have previously featured the festival and mentioned their plans for new stages, including an “eco” stage. This year, the focus is on the festivals Garden Stage which will offer a truly one-off intimate experience for everyone involved. All acts recently added will perform in the Garden Stage in 2015.

The line up already has a host of world renowned acts, all used to life on the festival road, with Fleetwood Mac, The Prodigy, Paolo Nutini, Pharrell Williams and The Black Keys already on the huge bill. All acts will play across 12 unique event stages on the island.

Legends Fleetwood Mac has also announced that the festival will be their last before a final album is produced.

Last year, the event was named top UK festival and is now the fifth most popular festival in the world according to online ticket sellers Viagogo.
