Stars Take To Social Media To Share Bobbi Kristina Sadness

After spending almost a full six months in a coma, the daughter of the late musical sensation Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina Brown, passed away on Sunday 26th July 2015 at just aged 22 years old. She was also the daughter of Bobby Brown, an American R&B singer-songwriter.

Sadly, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in her bathtub in Atlanta in January of this year, having grim echoes of her mother’s passing just three years earlier, with Whitney Houston being found dead in her bath.

The police report into the discovery of the 22 year old’s body have called it “drowning”, after her foster brother Nick Gordon found her at the time, unable to breath and with a lack of pulse.

Social media has become the platform for celebrities to reach out in the past decade, especially around times of life and death in showbiz, and various personalities have taken to Twitter, posting messages of condolences to followers.

“No parent ever think of burying their child be4 they go so extra prayers 4BobbyBrown & Cissy Houston Rest #BobbyKristina”, tweeted Missy Elliot.

Others showed their condolences by sharing photos of Bobbi Kristina with her late Mother, most notably Ciara, who posted a heart-warming photo of Mother and Daughter to her Instagram account.

Musicians and celebrities attended the funeral in Atlanta, Georgia today. Bobbi passed away at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, surrounded by all of her loved ones. She had been placed on a life support machine since she was found unconscious. Tensions between the Houston and Brown families were obvious at the funeral, with Pat Houston, Whitney’s sister-in-law and ex-manager, and her aunt, Leolah, having a major disagreement which resulted in Leolah storming out of the service.
